The lake an a rare hot summer day. Our cabin is on the near side of small bay at the far right end of the lake. Chico Mountain is in the foreground. This squabble took place at the lower end of the ridge that slopes off to the right. The drift where I first found Brandy and cubs is the big one at the base of that ridge.
